PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper feed cassette capable of realizing the constant paper feed timing by suppressing any positional deviation of a paper sheet occurred by releasing the stress between paper sheets accumulated between the paper sheets to be stored in a paper feed cassette, and realizing the consistent paper feed performance by eliminating any double feed, defective paper feed or the like, and a paper sheet feeder of an image forming device using the same. SOLUTION: The paper feed cassette mounted on an image forming device 1A comprises a paper sheet storage part 811, a paper sheet stacking plate 812, a paper sheet rear end regulating plate 815 member for regulating the position of the paper sheet rear end Pb, and a paper sheet fore end position regulating plate 814 for regulating the position of a paper sheet fore end Pa. The paper sheet rear end position regulating plate 815 is provided so that a part abutted on the paper sheet rear end Pb is inclined backwardly in the paper sheet conveying direction on the upper side in the paper sheet stacking direction, and the dimension in the paper sheet conveying direction with the paper sheets P being stored is larger on the upper side than on the lower side in the paper sheet stacking direction.
