PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bicycle basket cover which is used without extending and raising a cover or with a part or a whole part extended and raised corresponding to the height, volume, amount, the number or the like of articles to be stored in a bicycle basket and facilitates the opening and closing operation of the lid of the cover when extended and raised wholly. SOLUTION: The cover with an opening and closing lid of a bicycle basket B is attached to the front of the handle shaft HD of a bicycle. The cover includes a cover body part 1 mounted on the bicycle basket B, a cylindrical part 2 for cover extension and contraction which is extended from the upper end of the cover body part 1, and the opening and closing lid 3 for opening and closing the upper end opening of the cylindrical part 2. The cover body part 1 has a coupling tool 11 to the front side part of the upper end part of the basket B. The lid 3 allows a front end part to connect with the front side part of the upper end part of the cylindrical part 2 and is opened and closed at left and right end parts 32, 33 and a rear end part 34. In a cylindrical part 20 with the lid comprising the cylindrical part 2 and the lid 3, the rear part 21 of the cylindrical part 2 is raised higher than the front part 22 thereof when the cylindrical part 2 is wholly extended and raised.
