A conveyor is provided to transmit objects in sequence by alternatively operating a brake unit in each zone in case the object is not detected on the lowest zone of a conveyor belt. A conveyor includes an upper conveyor belt(3), a lower conveyor belt(4), brake units(16), a first object detector(31), and a controller. The upper conveyor belt includes a guide zone(3A) and a transmission zone(3B). The guide zone and the transmission zone are divided into various zones(Z1-Z15). Each zone has the brake unit. The lower conveyor belt receives an object to transmit to a next conveyor belt. The brake units operate a brake for controlling a roller. The first object detector is installed on the lowest zone of the upper conveyor belt and detects if an object is on the lowest zone of the upper conveyor belt. The controller controls operations of the brake units in case of abnormality of transmission of the objects.
