<p>Disclosed is an excellent prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for neurogenic pain, which comprises a 2-[(substituted-indene-7-yloxy)methyl]morpholine represented by the formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent is particularly useful as a prophylactic and/or therapeutic agent for a pain associated with allodynia, algesthesia, hyperesthesia, spontaneous pain, cancer pain, trigeminal neuralgia, phantom limb pain, post-herpetic pain, fibromyalgia, low back/leg pain, thalamic pain, entrapment (compression) peripheral neuropathy, atypical facial pain or spinal cord injury, a pain associated with multiple sclerosis, a pain associated with chemotherapy-induced neuropathy, cancer pain against which a narcotic analgesic agent (e.g., morphine) acts unsatisfactorily, a pain associated with diabetic neuropathy, or the like.</p> |
