<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap which avoids a decrease in a force of engagement between a container mouth and a cap body, and allows the cap body to be removed easily from the container mouth to offer excellent classified disposal characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge cap includes the cap body 1 having a top board 5 and a cylindrical side wall 6 which extends down from the periphery of the top board 5 and to the interior of which the container mouth 60 is fixed, and an upper lid 2 which is connected to the cap body 1 to be open and close freely via a hinge connection 25. The cylindrical side wall 6 is at least partly composed of an inner wall 6a, an outer wall 6b around the inner wall 6a, and a connection 6c connecting the lower end of the inner wall 6a to the outer wall 6b. Near the hinge connection 25, an axial weak line 27 is formed to enable vertical tearing the outer wall 6b. On the connection 6c, a circumferential weak line 28 is formed to extend circumferentially from the axial weak line 27 toward the hinge connection 25. The circumferential weak line 28 is provided with a tearing start area X and a tearing proceeding area Y, which are so formed that the tearing strength of the starting area X is smaller than the tearing strength of the proceeding area Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
