<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new system to implant a surgical device into an anatomical region in a patient's body. <P>SOLUTION: A system for implanting an implant and method thereof is disclosed. The system includes the implant 10, an envelope 20 enclosing the implant 10, a delivery assembly 650, and an accessory piece 350 for attaching the envelope 20 or implant 10 to the delivery assembly 650. The envelope 20 may include a drug coating, positioning aids, and means to facilitate envelope removal. In one embodiment, the delivery assembly 650 is employed for implant and/or envelope delivery inside the patient's body.
