PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the affection of He cracking due to repair welding by reducing the frequency of heat input and isolating a defective part from an external environment. SOLUTION: A defective region 3 to be sealed is set to be divided into sections, a coating plate 4 is set to consists of plate materials 4a... corresponding to the sections and the plate materials are connected to each other by welding while being arranged in turn on the surface of the defective region of a reactor structure 1. The plate materials are jointed to the nuclear structure 1, and, in this welding, the position of a joint between the start and end edges of a welding bead 5 over the plate materials and that of an overlapping part of a welding bead along the mutually intersecting directions are alienated on the surface of the reactor structure 1.
