PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an array variable display device and an array variable display method capable of confirming easily a fail spot or the like. SOLUTION: A fail extraction means 11 retrieves an array variable stored in an array variable storage part 2, and extracts fail spots. A fail spot display means 12 designates the fail spots extracted by the fail extraction means 11 by a cursor on a display screen 15 on which the array variable is drawn and displayed. A designation acceptance means 13 accepts operation by a user for designating a fail spot to be designated by the fail spot display means 12 from among the fail spots extracted by the fail extraction means 11.
