PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a high performance pipe having higher heat transmission coefficient in comparison with a pipe having a smooth inside face as a fine pipe on a refrigerant side for increasing performance of a heat exchanger and downsizing it. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger for hot water supply is constructed of a core pipe 1 forming a water passage 3, a fine pipe 2 connected to the outer circumference of the core pipe 1 for forming a refrigerant passage 4. For the fine pipe 2, a high performance pipe having a higher heat transmission coefficient in comparison with the pipe with a smooth inside face, is used for increasing the heat transmission coefficient of the fine pipe 2 through which a refrigerant flows.
