PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-containing dust discharging device capable of discharging dust while preventing sintering of dust in a rotary valve part of a dust collector. SOLUTION: This dust discharging device for the dust collector 23 is provided with an electric current detecting sensor 14 of a motor 8 for driving the rotary valve 3 disposed on a bottom portion of a hopper 1, an electric current comparison operation unit 18 disposed on a temperature detecting sensor 24 of the rotary valve 3 to compare and operate the measured electric current value and a temperature with set values and determine sintering, a temperature gradient comparison operation unit 20, and an injection pipe 5 for injecting an inactive gas to the rotary valve 3.
