PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply producing a stereoselective sulfonylimine compound, or its hydrolyzate or its reduced compound in a high yield, by an aldol addition type catalytic asymmetric nucleophilic addition reaction using a carbonyl compound and an enamine derivative. SOLUTION: This method for producing a sulfonylimine compound comprises reacting an ene sulfonamide represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each independently H or an alkyl which may have one or more substiuents, R<SP>3</SP>is an alkyl which may have one or more substiuents, or an aryl which may have one or more substiuents; R<SP>4</SP>is an aryl which may have one or more substiuents) with an aldehyde group-having compound in the presence of a catalyst containing a copper compound and an asymmetric carbon atom-containing diimine, to produce a corresponding sulfonylimine compound.
