PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need of manually carrying out pressing/separating action of a decurling member, and to eliminate the part of mechanism carrying out the action. SOLUTION: The decurling device comprises a carrying roller 4 carrying recording paper 2a drawn out from a recording paper roll 2, and a pressurizing roller 5 pressing/separating the recording paper 2a between the carrying roller 4 and the pressurizing roller 5. The decurling device also comprises a decurling roller 1 pressing the recording paper 2a drawn from the recording paper roll 2 and carried to the carrying roller 4 and the pressurizing roller 5, and a drive mechanism driving the decurling roller 1 to be pressed on/broken away from the recording paper 2a by using a mechanism driving the pressurizing roller 5 to be pressed on/broken away from the recording paper 2a.
