摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the timing when folding deformation of a skeleton member is started at collision of a vehicle, the continuation of the deformation load after the folding deformation is started, and the folding angle of the skeleton member. SOLUTION: Since a collision reinforcement 14 (first reinforcement member) is provided on a side rail 12 (skeleton member) at collision of the vehicle, the folding deformation is generated on the side rail at the timing when the load input to the side rail 12 at collision of the vehicle reaches to the load set the collision reinforcement 14. Since a bulk head (16) (second reinforcement member) for suppressing reduction of the deformation load in a folding deformation process is provided on the side rail 12, the deformation load is continued even after the side rail 12 starts the folding deformation. Since a notch 18 (folding angle control means) for controlling the folding angle of the side rail 12 is provided on the bulk head 16, the folding deformation is easily performed until the side rail 12 reaches to a predetermined folding angle.
