PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably prevent skipping stitches when sewing by rocking a sewing needle to a left needle falling position and a right needle falling position. SOLUTION: A lower shaft gear 53 oriented horizontally comprises a helical gear twisted rightward and is mounted on a lower shaft 51 in a manner to move axially and not to rotate. A hook gear 54 oriented vertically comprises a helical gear twisted rightward and is firmly fixed on a hook shaft part 42, and the lower shaft gear and the hook gear 54 mesh mutually. A cam groove 62 having a delay control cam part 62b and a lead control cam part 62c partially is formed on the peripheral surface of a cam body 61 integrally formed on the left end of the lower shaft gear 53.
