摘要 <p>The method involves calculating a psychoacoustic parameter for a sound signal, and supplying the parameter to an evaluating function e.g. classification function (109). A value obtained by an evaluation is compared with a predetermined value or a range of values, and a sound signal in individual knocking responses is temporally separated during percussion of a foodstuff. A value of the psychoacoustic parameter is computed for each knocking response, and the sound signal is high pass filtering (101) and low pass filtering (102) during the separation of the sound signal. An independent claim is also included for a device for non-destructive acoustic quality control of foodstuff.</p>
