<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain durability with a simple device structure at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A large-area and mass-production type CIS-based thin film solar cell module is cut into a predetermined area, or the defective portions of the solar cell module generated by certain causes in a manufacturing process are removed to fabricate a small-sized solar cell module 1A that is cut into a predetermined area. To this module 1A, an output ribbon conductor 3 is attached. Its entire circumference (Fig.(a)), the portion (Fig.(b)) except a glass substrate, or only the light receiving surface side (Fig.(c)) of the module 1 are sealed by a sealing resin layer 4 having durability in a temperature zone from a cold temperature to a high temperature, or stored (d) in a closed case 4A with a lid comprising the resin. By such a simple device structure, durability is maintained. In addition, the mirror-surface state of the non-light-receiving surface of a glass substrate is used as a mirror.
