<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which allows a process unit 1Y to be made flatter than before. <P>SOLUTION: In a process unit 1Y, a first positioning projection 14Y and a second positioning projection 15Y for positioning the process unit 1Y in a position different from a position where the first positioning projection 14Y positions the process unit 1Y are disposed on each of two side faces facing each other of a unit casing so as to be shifted from each other in a lengthwise direction of a slit 96Y. In a process of mounting the process unit 1Y on an image forming apparatus body, the second positioning projection 15Y is engaged with the slit 96Y with which the first positioning projection 14Y is engaged, in a position shifted from the first positioning projection 14Y in the slit lengthwise direction, on each of the two side faces of the process unit 1Y. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
