<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device equipped with a solid-state imaging element capable of accurately determining the relative position relation between a holder and a lens holder holding a lens. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device has a focus adjusting means of moving the lens holder (20) forward and backward relative to the holder (10) along optical axes of lenses (51, 52) by rotating the lens holder (20). The focus adjusting means includes a cam and a cam receiver (152). Then the lens holder (20) has an engagement claw (211) nearby an end of a cam cylinder portion (21) and the holder (10) has a claw receiving portion (111) to engage the engagement claw (211) nearby the root of a cylinder portion (11).
