<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that can keep a high color rendering property, establish high light emission efficiency and emit light with optional chrominance. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device is provided with a substrate and three or more groups that are arranged on the substrate in a specified pattern and emit monochromatic light, respectively. One of the light emitting groups is provided with a plurality of light emitting elements that are arranged on the substrate to emit blue light and a transparent resin layer that is covered on the light emitting element. Each of the other light emitting groups other than the light emitting group with the transparent resin layer is provided with: a plurality of light emitting elements that are arranged on the substrate to emit a blue light; and a phosphor layer containing a such phosphor that emits visible light by using the blue light radiated from the light emitting elements covered on the light emitting element and has the same kind and mixing ratio at each of the light emitting groups. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
