<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder which can estimate an ending time of recording processing without performing partial recording processing again from the beginning even when processing is interrupted halfway of the partial recording processing (printing) as a part of the entire recording processing, and to provide a method of estimating the ending time of recording processing in the apparatus, and a program. <P>SOLUTION: The image recorder 31 carries out a recording processing process on the basis of designated job information. In the recording processing process, a recording medium stored in a feeding part 2 is sent to a conveying mechanism 6, an image recording part 15 carries out recording processing to the recording medium in the course that the conveying mechanism 6 conveys carrying the recording medium, and the recording medium passed through recording processing is discharged.
