<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform required processing without leaking data of individual users to another user, in a storage terminal shared by a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: A flash ROM 22 of the storage terminal includes: a memory device dedicated to a plurality of users to which different memory identifiers are assigned; and a shared memory device 221P storing a dedicated memory switching table T1 in which the plurality of memory identifiers and the respective different IP addresses are made to correspond to each other. A CPU specifies the memory identifier corresponding to the IP address from the dedicated memory switching table T1 on receiving request information including one of the plurality of IP addresses from a host device, and connects the memory device dedicated to the user to which the specified memory identifier is assigned with a bus 26 by a data transmission line.
