PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which can be small-sized and can electrically control an open mechanism. SOLUTION: The mobile terminal is a mobile terminal 1 which comprises a main body 2 and a freely opening/closing lid body 3 of the main body 2, generates vibration for recognizing a call arrival when there is the call arrival, and automatically opens the closed lid body 3 of the main body 2. The mobile terminal comprises a motor m1 which rotates forward and backward, a vibration generating means (w) which generates vibration by means of driving power of rotation in one direction of the motor m1 when there is a call arrival, and a lid open means O which opens the closed lid body 3 of the main body 2 by means of the driving power of rotation in the other direction of the motor m1.
