PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromotive camera platform cradle which can be used as a simplified camera system with a digital camera attached thereto. SOLUTION: The electromotive camera platform cradle 31 includes a detection means 37 which detects that an image-taking means 1 has been connected, and a simplified image-taking means 38 which is provided at an image providing position of an optical finder 3 of the image-taking means 1 to obtain image data of a photographic subject via the optical finder 3 when having detected by a detection means 37 that the image-taking means 1 has been connected.
