PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless receiver of reception circuit distortion compensation system having no reception performance reduction due to variation in performance of individual components used in the reception circuit. SOLUTION: A wireless receiver comprising an FIR digital filter having variable coefficients, an adaptive equalizer, and a rewritable nonvolatile memory for storing the equalizer coefficients is further provided with a training function for storing the equalizer coefficients calculated by the adaptive equalizer in a nonvolatile memory, a means for reading the calculated equalizer coefficients from the nonvolatile memory and applying convolution to the filter coefficients of route roll-off characteristics and the equalizer coefficients when starting the receiver, and a function for storing the convolution results as the coefficients of the FIR digital filter in the nonvolatile memory.
