PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a liquid crystal display device which performs polarity inversion driving to easily change polarity inversion patterns without newly developing a timing controller which generates a polarity inversion signal corresponding to various video signals. SOLUTION: A video signal processing circuit 21 internally has a polarity inversion pattern control unit which outputs a signal for changing a polarity inversion signal supplied to a data driver 54 in a liquid crystal module 22, and supplies the output signal of the polarity inversion pattern control unit from a video signal processing circuit 21 to the liquid crystal module 22. In the liquid crystal module 22, a logic circuit 23 is provided which inputs the output signal of the polarity inversion pattern control unit and the polarity inversion signal from a timing controller 53, and the output signal of the logic circuit 23 is supplied as a polarity inversion signal to a data driver 54.
