PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, rapid and sure reinforcing method for avoiding the fragile destruction of a structure by imparting ductility to the sear deformation itself of a member made of a compression material, and a reinforcing structure. SOLUTION: A reinforcing sheet 21, which is equipped with homogeneity, elasticity and ductility resistant to breaking strain up to the order of a few percents so as to enhance sear deformation performance by dispersing cracks, is joined and fixed to a surface of the member 11 made of the compression material, presenting a prescribed three-dimensional shape, via an adhesion layer coated with an adhesive with a thickness equivalent to rigidity for dispersing the cracks, and strength for generating the dispersion of the cracks.
