PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize behavior of a vehicle on a splitμroad surface in a brake controller for a vehicle performing anti-lock control. SOLUTION: The brake controller for the vehicle is provided with a brake operation determination part for determining that a driver performs brake operation; and a rapid pressure-increase rate setting part for setting a rapid pressure-increase rate having a large increase slope than a loose pressure-increase rate. A yaw control control part controls a brake of a wheel at a highμside according to the rapid pressure-increase rate set by the rapid pressure-increase rate setting part on and after it is determined that brake operation is performed by a brake operation determination part when the yaw control control that the loose pressure-increase control is performed regarding a wheel brake of the wheel at the highμside is already executed at the time when it is determined that brake operation is performed at the brake operation determination part.
