PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection apparatus which changes, in accordance with the position of a chip in a sleeve, the amount of cooling water flowing through the inside of the chip and a water passing position, thereby improves the quality of a casting and increases the productivity of a casting machine. SOLUTION: The injection apparatus 1 is provided with: a die 85 to be charged with a molten metal used for casting; a cylindrical sleeve 9 communicated with the die 85 and storing the molten metal at the inside; a chip 3 with a cooling part 53 (50, 54) charging the molten metal to the die 85 at the inside of the sleeve 9 and cooling the molten metal after being charged to the die 85; a rod 14 moving the chip 3 at the inside of the sleeve 9; a rod 14 moving the chip 3 at the inside of the sleeve 9; a chip joint 2 joining the chip 3 to the rod 14; and a cooling tube 8 (7, 6) elongating into the chip 3 from the inside of the rod 14 through the inside of the chip joint 2, and communicated with the cooling part 53 (50, 54) in the chip 3 to thereby cool the chip 3, wherein the relative positions of the chip 3 and the cooling tube 8 (7, 6) change in accordance with the position of the chip 3 in the sleeve 9.
