PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid fuel combustion device for allowing fuel supply without inverting a fuel supply tank during fuel supply from the open type fuel tank, while simplifying an oil supply passage from the fuel supply tank to a combustion part and a joint portion of the fuel supply tank. SOLUTION: To the fuel supply tank detachable in the state of being normally placed on a device body, one fuel supply passage 3 is connected via a joint support 4 for supplying fuel to a carburetor 6. The fuel such as kerosene residing in the carburetor 6 during fire extinction is returned to the fuel supply passage 3 through a return pipe 9 as a return passage via a three-way connector 7 to reduce the odor of vaporizing gas. The return pipe 9 can be returned to the fuel supply passage 3 on the midway without the need for extending to the fuel supply tank, and then the return passage is shorted. The return pipe 9 is not connected to the joint support 4, and structure (a fuel supply circulating structure) for connecting the joint support 4 to the fuel supply tank is simplified thereby.
