PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kiln regulating the flow of combustion exhaust gas by reducing the outflow/inflow of high temperature exhaust gas from clearances between barrier plates and a kiln shell, and also to provide a waste gasification system. SOLUTION: A first kiln 10A has the kiln shell 102 supplied with a treated material; an outer cylinder provided at the outer periphery of the kiln shell 102; a combustion gas supply line 105 provided at the peripheral wall of the outer cylinder 103 to indirectly heat waste 101 which is the treated material supplied into the kiln shell 102; and a combustion gas exhaust line 106 exhausting combustion exhaust gas 104 after indirectly heated, to the outside of the outer cylinder 103. The barrier plates 12 whose outer peripheral ends 12a are held in groove parts 11 circumferentially provided at the inner surface of the outer cylinder 103, are formed integrally with the kiln shell 102.
