PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting stud for a high-temperature furnace heat insulating block capable of making a heat insulating block hardly drop out from the supporting stud projecting from a furnace wall, and making the supporting stud for supporting an insulator fixed to the heat insulating block fixed to the furnace wall hardly dropping out. SOLUTION: An arrowhead body 3 punched out or cut out from a thin strip of stainless steel plate is welded along a central axis to a part of a stud main body 2 excluding a furnace wall mounting portion and a retainer or insulator mounting portion of the supporting stud 1. The arrowhead body 3 has at least one arrowhead portion 5 connected with an arrowhead portion 4 through a central web portion 6, and the arrowhead portion 4 is composed of a triangular front portion 4A, and a pair of tilted tailplane portions 4B extending backward along the central axis from both side end parts of a bottom side of the triangular front portion 4A at a side part of the central web portion at an acute angleαto the central axis.
