PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the friction transmission gearbox which can set a pressurized load as a proper value by all the roller couple in spite of a variation in center distance between the roller pair by a dimension error etc. SOLUTION: It has the drive roller 1 and the driven roller 2 which are supported in a free rotation and the frame 7 which supports a cam 8 with an angle to the tangential line on the contact point of both rollers and a plurality of roller couples to transmit the power to the driven roller 2 from the drive roller 1 is arranged each other with different diameter by pressing contact the rollers contacting the cam slant faces 8a, 8b in the rotation support part of one roller. The spring 10 of an elastic member is arranged in the direction of pressing force between the cam 8 and the frame 7 and acts on the contact face of both rollers 1, 2 in the friction transmission gearbox to transmit the force with either roller couple selectively by changing the center distance between each roller pair.
