Electrical connector element (1) for connection of a conductor (6) to a circuit board (10), comprising a housing (2), at least one clamp connector (5) for the conductor (6) and at least two connector pins (3) for preferably soldered connection to the circuit board (10). According to the invention, the housing (2) comprises at least one separating element (4) made from insulating material, projecting from the lower side (2a), facing away from the circuit board (10) in the assembled position, at least partly arranged between the connector pins (3) and extending through the circuit board (10) in the assembled position, in order to permit the connector pins (3) of the electrical connector element (1) to be arranged closer together and thus to achieve a more compact construction of the electrical connector element (1). Even in the case where there is a smaller separation of the connector pins (3) than required by normal safety separations, an adequate security against the risk of a short circuit between the connector pins (3) is guaranteed.
