摘要 <p>A method of the chemical modification of inner pore surfaces, in which a polymer complex having specific pores (B) having in-pore environment properties regulated with a specific substituent (A) is formed and the pores (B) are then utilized as a reaction field to convert the substituent (A) into another substituent to thereby further regulate the in-pore environment properties. Also provided is a polymer complex which is obtained by the chemical modification method and has extraordinarily specific in-pore environment properties. In the method of chemically modifying inner pore surfaces, a polymer complex having two or more kinds of pores, each kind being constituted of pores which have an intrinsic affinity for guest molecules and are the same as one another, is modified by chemically modifying the inner surfaces of the pores of at least one kind of pores. This method is characterized by the following. The polymer complex comprises an aromatic compound as a ligand having two or more coordinating sites, a metal ion as a central metal, and a non-coordinating aromatic compound, and has a three-dimensional lattice structure including: a three-dimensional network structure formed by coordinating ligands of the aromatic compound to ions of the central metal; and stacked structures each constituted of the non-coordinating aromatic compound inserted between aromatic compound ligands. The three-dimensional lattice structure has the two or more kinds of pores therein. The non-coordinating aromatic compound has a specific substituent (A) in a specific position on the aromatic ring, and molecules of the non-coordinating aromatic compound have been regularly disposed so that the substituents (A) face the inner surfaces of specific pores (B) of the two or more kinds of pores. Guest molecules are clathrated in the pores (B) in which the substituents (A) have been disposed, and the guest molecules are reacted with the substituents (A) in the pores to thereby convert each substituent (A) to another substituent (A'). Thus, the substituents (A') are regularly disposed so as to face the inner surfaces of the pores (B) or other pores.</p>
