An adhesive tape producing apparatus having a dryer suitable for use in high-mix low-volume production or production in clean condition of, for example, tape medicine. The adhesive tape producing apparatus has the following characteristics. The apparatus includes an adhesive agent coating unit, a dryer and an adhesive tape take-off unit. The dryer has the shape of a box. The dryer on its side of adhesive agent coating unit is provided with an adhesive tape inlet, and on its side of adhesive tape wind-up reel is provided with an adhesive tape outlet. The dryer on its side wall is provided with a gas admission port, and in its interior is provided with a sheet heater. A support base material is coated with the adhesive agent by the adhesive agent coating unit, and when it is fed into the dryer and taken off by the adhesive tape take-off unit, the adhesive tape slides on the surface of the sheet heater so that the adhesive tape is heated and dried.
