An eco-friendly semi-wet composition for afforestment is provided to realize improved adhesion to an inclined rocky surface and strength, to improve a degree of growth and development of plants, and to improve moisture- and compost-retaining capability. An eco-friendly semi-wet composition for afforestment comprises 15-40 wt% of earthworm excrement soil, 15-50 wt% of rotten soil, 5-10 wt% of zeolite and 24-40 wt% of weathered basalt soil. The composition has a water content of 20-60%. The rotten soil optionally further comprises an organic material. The rotten soil is obtained from organic slime, particularly sewage sludge. The composition optionally further comprises an adhesive.
