The turbine blade has multiple rotating blades arranged on a hub that is rotatable about an axis, where a transition between the two adjacent rotating blades is formed by an uneven contact surface (21) and an even contact surface (25) in the region of a shrouding band i.e. cover plate (20). The uneven contact surface exhibits a toroidal elevation (22) with a radius of curvature and a cross-sectional radius (r), where the radius of curvature is greater than the cross-sectional radius. The uneven contact surface lies on the even contact surface with the toroidal elevation.
