Preparation of double glazing made up of two faces (1, 2) is characterized in that an engraving is effected on all or part of one side of at least one of the two faces (1, 2), and on the surfaces of the sides that will be inside the double glazing, a peripheral ribbing is cut on which the engraving is of a depth between 0 and 2 mm. An Independent claim is given for the double glazing obtained by the above method of fabrication.
