The fishing net has at least three nets superimposed, each forming a roughly rectangular layer, with lozenge shaped mesh. The two opposed edges (1, 2) of each net are formed by a row of lozenge support meshes (3, 3A). Each support mesh has a support cord (4). The central net has the smaller mesh size and the summits (S) of the support meshes of the outer nets are fixed to line up with the corresponding summits of the central net, by the connections (8).
