The device (5) has a supporting device supporting a solar module (1) and pivoted around an axis (2). A fixed frame (8) holds the supporting device. The axis runs parallel to a plane that is defined by the module and runs in meridian plane, which is defined by an installation place, under an angle between 10 degrees and 70 degrees towards a horizontal of the installation place. The module and the supporting device (4) are formed in square shape. The axis runs parallel to diagonals of the square or coincides with the diagonals.
