ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

An OLED(Organic Light Emitting Display) device and a driving method thereof are provided to display uniform images by utilizing data used to compensate for threshold/mobility of a driving transistor. Pixels are positioned at cross sections of data, scan, and illumination control lines. A scan driver(110) supplies scan signals to the scan lines and illumination control signals to the illumination control lines. A control line driver(160) supplies control signals to control lines. A data driver(120) generates data signals to be supplied to the data lines using second data supplied from a timing controller(150). A sensing unit(180) senses degradation of an organic light emitting diode and threshold voltage of a driving transistor sensed through the sensing unit. A switching unit(170) connects one of the sensing unit and the data driver to the data lines. A control block(190) stores the degradation information of the organic light emitting diode and the threshold voltage of the driving transistor. The timing controller generates the second data by varying a bit value of first data from outside using the degradation information of the organic light emitting diode and the threshold voltage information of the driving transistor stored in the control block.
