PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to regulate a voltage and a current input to an inverter or a DC/DC converter by sensing and lowering the voltage and current supplied from a main battery of an electric vehicle CONSTITUTION: A main battery(10) supplies electric energy to drive an electric vehicle by filling a certain amount of the electric energy and inputs the voltage and current to an inverter(30) after sensing the valtages and current in a first sensing unit(20). Herein, the inverter changes a DC value input from the first sensing unit to an AC value to drive a motor, and a motor driving unit(40) drives the motor of the electric vehicle by using an AC current input from the inverter. In addition, a second sensing unit(50) inputs the value sensed from the first sensing unit to a DC/DC converter(60) for converting so a DC current as to be input in an auxiliary battery(70) used by using the DC current when power is not supplied from a main battery.
