A rotor 1, arranged for a unilateral transverse flux machine with flux concentration, which interacts via an air gap with a coaxially arranged stator 2 arrangement with stator poles 6 and interposed annular winding 4, and comprising rotor pole shoes 9 arranged in the circumferential direction with interposed permanent magnets 8 with changing polarities, is characterized in that a rotor pole unit 7 with associated rotor pole shoes 9 is provided for each stator pole unit 3 of the stator pole arrangement, with adjacent rotor pole shoes of one phase being connected with one keeper 10 each. The keeper 10 contacts the circumferential facing surfaces of the pole legs 12 but is separated from the axial faces and the magnet faces by air gaps 14. |
