A scum discharging apparatus for a sedimentation basin is provided to discharge scum floating on the surface of water stably and easily by automatically immersing a scum inflow part into water, discharge scum more completely by simply controlling an apparatus for removing scum, and enhance convenience in application and installation aspects by controlling the floating height of the scum inflow part easily. A scum discharging apparatus for a sedimentation basin(B) comprises: a scum inflow part(10) which is installed on the surface of water of the sedimentation basin in a floated state and moved in the downward direction such that scum floating on the surface of water flows into the scum inflow part while the scum inflow part is submersed into water; a watertight fixing part(20) installed on an inner wall(W) of the sedimentation basin, and which fixes the scum inflow part such that the scum inflow part is vertically movable in a state that water is prevented from flowing into the scum inflow part; a scum discharge pipe(30) connected to a lower part of the scum inflow part and penetratingly installed on an inner wall of the sedimentation basin to discharge scum that has been flown into the scum inflow part to the outside; a vertical drive part(40) which is connected to the scum inflow part such that the scum inflow part is submersed into water, and which moves the scum inflow part vertically at predetermined intervals; and a drive control part(50) for controlling an operation of the vertical drive part by sensing an object that approaches the scum inflow part or goes away from the scum inflow part through a pair of proximity sensors(51) installed on the circumference of an upper part of the sedimentation basin.
