PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an aliphatic carbonic ester from an aliphatic hydroxy compound at one stage in a high yield. SOLUTION: An aliphatic hydroxy compound is reacted with carbon dioxide and oxygen in the presence of a catalyst consisting of (a-1) a polynuclear metal complex compound containing at least one selected from a tin atom, a titanium atom and an iron atom and a palladium atom as a metal center, (a-2) a polynuclear metal complex compound containing plural palladium atoms as a metal center or (a-3) a palladium complex compound containing an organic compound containing two or more nitrogen atoms as a ligand and (b) a redox catalyst to produce an aliphatic carbonic ester. |
