Data management for image processing

The method involves receiving access information, which indicates a reference address of a memory, information relative to dimensions of a pixel block along axes of a reference image and a storing mode. An access rule is selected among access rules relative to an indicated mode, where each rule corresponds to a movement of pixels along the axes of the image following the mode. Addresses associated to the pixels of the block are accessed at the memory by applying the selected rule of the block relative to the dimensions of the block from the address. An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for managing a data in an image processing system.
