A flooring system for vehicles and like transportation means employs a plurality of elongate flooring elements, one of which is shown as 10b, preferably having inter-engaging features 22b and 24b providing for edge to edge connection to further like elements 10a, 10c. One or more of the elements has an inlet connector 20 and a path for power or signals running along it which can be used by vehicle passengers or, for supply to, or communication with, equipment carried by the vehicle, e.g. by means of outlets 14b. |
