<p>The bed has traversing support elements (5) respectively placed near a headboard (3) and leg (8) of the bed, where the elements are formed of metallic bars. Suspension cables (9) comprise lower ends connected to projecting parts (15) of the elements or to sides of the headboard and the leg by suspension points suspended towards wedges of the lit. A fixation unit (21) fixes upper ends of the cables to a ceiling (20) for suspending the bed to the ceiling such that a frame of the bed is placed at desired fixed distance above the ceiling to provide a space without encumbrance below the bed.</p> |
