<p>A cap for a bearing arrangement comprises a hollow-cylindrical bearing element being arrangable in an opening of a housing element, thereby the bearing arrangement is designed so, that under normal operation conditions the outer jacket of the bearing element contacts the opening basically in a sector-like region and has an gap in a region opposing the contacting region, whereby the cap is designed to close the opening and the cap comprises an axial projection being designed at least to project between the bearing element and the housing element in said region with said gap to essentially close said gap at least in a radial direction.</p> |
