A plant cultivating unit capable of simply carrying out a watering job and supplying water uniformly to plants in a place where a floor surface is sloped such as the roof of a building without requiring separate water supply piping work. The plant cultivating unit (1) comprises a water storing tray (2) in which receivers (3) capable of housing the roots of plants are arranged and which can store water, a water storing space (8) in the water storing tray (2) communicating with receivers (3) via water feeders (7), water stored in the water storing space (8) being capable of being fed to plants via water feeders (7), wherein the water storing tray (2) is provided with a connector (6) capable of connecting adjacent water storing trays (2) with each other to allow communication between them, and the connector (6) consists of an inflow connector (6a) and an outflow connector (6b) to allow water to flow into the water storing space (8) via the inflow connector (6a) and to flow out via the outflow connector (6b) by overflowing when a specified amount of water is stored in the water storing space (8). |
